Types of masonry
There are different types of masonry that fit best depending on your specific project need and style.
Veneer masonry is masonry units, which could be clay-based bricks, on one of both sides of the wall typically constructed of wood or masonry. Typically, this type of masonry mainly is used for decorative purposes to give your home or office an uplift look.
Dry set masonry is not dependent in its entirety to bond between the building materials but rather holds itself together through friction.
Brick masonry is solid brickwork bound together to form rows. This can be handy in building columns for home structures, chimneys, fireplaces, outdoor living structures, and more.
Concrete masonry utilizes concrete bricks to build walls.
Stonework masonry or stonemasonry is a hybrid wall of reinforced concrete with rubble stone face. Stonework can also be stone veneers to give an upscale appearance to interior and exterior walls.
